Sarah approached Greystoke Web Design to build a website for her new holiday cottage Tongue Cottage, near Ullswater. Paul Maven Photography had provided a portfolio of images. The brief was to build a website that reflected the luxury and history of the cottage, and to provide a system for online bookings.
The home page showcases the cottage with an extensive gallery. An accommodation page details the facilities, and there is a ‘things to do’ page highlighting the many local attractions. An availability calendar is linked to a booking form, with prices automatically calculated and displayed at booking time. All system emails are fully responsive and branded.
The site is fully integrated with Google and Bing Search consoles, and has Google analytics.
Future plans include adding Instagram, mailchimp for mailing lists and promotions, and potentially integrating the booking calendar with other systems. A website is never finished. It should continue to evolve, and we can help build out your brand and offering in stages as your business needs it.
