The Brief
Ruth Wharton approached us looking for a brand new website to showcase her art and the various mediums she works in. Ruth had a very clear vision of what she wanted, and was able to point us to similar styles she liked.
The Solution
We designed a multi-page site with separate responsive lightbox galleries for Photo Intaglio, Drawing and Painting. Ruth’s Instagram account is also linked to from the home page. No contact form was needed. We also created a simple logo and favicon based on Ruth’s signature. A strong sans-serif font combination of Montserrat and Source Sans Pro provides a clean counterpoint to the artwork.
