Lakes For All

Katy approached us to build a website for her new accessible holiday home. Rose Cottage is a new luxury accessible home in the Lake District, near Lowther Castle. With branding from Creative Hutch, and photography supplied by Harry Atkinson Photography, all that remained was us to build an accessible website!

The Completed Site

Accessibility on the website was obviously critical. We strive to build all websites to WCAG AA standard for accessibility in terms of colour contrast. For Lakes For All we dialled it up to eleven and gave them an AAA rating. And we make sure everything else is built with accessibility in mind on all our our websites – ensuring images are correctly tagged, and even giving that google map emend a title attribute (which google doesn’t include in their embed code!). The contact form was tweaked so it too rated AAA, and the Instagram plugin code was also amended.

There’s clearly high demand for luxury accessible accommodation in the Lakes, and we wish Lakes For All huge success going forward, and we look forward to expanding their site as more properties are added.
